Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading, which each weeks ask us a book related question to mull over.  

What distracts you when you really “should be reading”? 

For me it's usually my business or studying. I run my own business which takes up a lot of time. I am also studying, what? Well the main thing is my marketing diploma, then there is personal development and then genealogy...... I also write a blog for the business & a marketing blog too, yes I now have 3 blogs :-) Crazy? NO, I love blogging, I do wish I could keep up with them all better though (maybe I'll set a different target, 4 to 7 posts per blog might be a bit high!) 

As part of what I've been learning recently I'm replacing all of my "Should do's" with "want to" as I find this more useful :-) However, all sorts get in the way of what I want to do!

If you were going to write a book, what would you write about? Would it be fiction, or nonfiction?

Oh wow, I have so many ideas floating around in my head of books I'd like to write at some point! I have both fiction and non-fiction ideas! In the fiction realm I'd like to write something with lots of action and a little magic (with the romance being on the sweet not erotic side). 

As far as non-fiction goes I am already writing an ebook for my business (6 ways to optimise your online presence with blogging & social media) and will write more too!

Do you listen to audiobooks? If not, why not? And, if so, what has been one of your favorites, so far?

I do listen to audiobooks but only non-fiction. For fiction books I like to create my own narrative and find that the audio books do not match how I want them to be, so I avoid them.
