Feature & Follow Friday #2

What is Feature & follow?

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

The featured blogs:

This weeks question

Q: Have you ever bought a book BECAUSE of a bad review?

A: No not really. Well unless it's by an author I've read before and I simply cannot believe the reviews are all bad! If I found a bad review of a book I was interested in I would always search out other reviews too so I could see what other people thought.

Lets get following!

What are the rules of Feature & Follow?

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

  1. Reviews are very subjective aren't they? However, bad reviews do pique my curiosity. Can a book really be as bad as they say? New follower. Here's mine: My FF

  2. I always want to read books with bad reviews, just to find out if I feel the same.. But if there are a LOT of bad reviews ranting about the same thing, I might just pass it.

  4. I agree with finding more reviews if I like the sound of a book.

  5. I think it depends on whether I agree with the reviewer. Like.. If someone says "I am a big fan of lovetriangles and in this book there was a great one!" then I'll know that, being a lovetriangle-hater I won't enjoy it very much. *g*

  6. I hope I don#t review twice here. I just left one and then there was an Error Message and blah. >_< Anyway, with me it's mostly that it depends on whether or not I agree with the reviewer. If they like lovetriangles and give a book with a lovetriangle 5 stars, then I, being a lovetriangle hater, am pretty sure that it might not be for me.
